help them out
ive been reading these threds and "hearing" people talk about how a-net needs to add this and that, well instead of putting the stress on a net lets try to come up with some ideas our selves ( that still keep the ballance of the game), like :
Skills:- Fear, Warrior, for (20-40) secends the target foe runs in fear
- Fire Bomb, Ranger, You summon a lvl 5 Spirit. Witch will self destruct in (30-60) secends, causing (20-40) dammage to all creatures nearbye.
- Blink, Necro, for (10-20) secends you are non-cohearent, you can not tuch your foes, and they can not tuch you. ( use this to regane health, or to cast protection spells )
ps: and no flaming please

If you mean like a thread where we try and think up new skills, I am all for that. But we shouldn't say that they are for a certain class, because we do not know if any skills will be added to the current classes (I would rather have more classes than more skills for the current classes myself).
Spell-Invisibility (can be seen by monsters in quests and missions so cannot use to cheat them; a primarily PvP skill).
Mana Cost-Around 10
Duration- 5-12 seconds
Cooldown- 45-35 seconds
Effect-Turn invisible. Cannot be seen, targeted, or hit by weapons, but you are still affected by Area of Effect spells
Note: I would like to see a stealth class

Stealth Class is good... I've mentioned this in separate threads before, but it's such a small thing it always gets lost in the dredges:
Item
Spyglass - rare (drop or craft)
use to see distances close up, a zoom feature.

Stealth class is kind of overpowered IMO. I'm not thinking straight at the moment, so could someone please explain to me how one would gain the advantage on a stealth profession? Because, after all, the professions are balanced with weaknesses against certain strategies and professions as well as strengths against certain strategies and professions.
I don't see any weakness the stealth class possesses alone (unless you make the stealth users have insanely low hit points or something absurd and biased along those lines) Perhaps AoE like traps and such, but then again, what classes ARENT affected by those?
Because I think the concept is really cool, and I sure wish I could evade people and mobs without staying a hundred feet away from them. But I don't see how a stealth class doesn't completely shift the balance of the game.

Signet of transformation- for 30 seconds, this signet transforms your ranger into a class that does not suck.

Bashing on rangers only leads them to come onto the forums and bash other classes for being overpowered or rangers being unappreciated...
As can be witnessed by other threads.

A MONSTER!!!!!
That would be so cool!!! A super elite signet that gives you 30 seconds of being whatever creature you use to capture the essence (capture a wurm and for 30 seconds be a worm... then the sig disappears...
That would be awesome... imagine the surprise of your random pick-up group when Glint starts thinking he's all that and then starts getting his ass owned by a bad ass bone dragon and meanwhile their monk has disappeared!!!!
cool!!!
but it would have to be an extremely extremely rare item

Easy to balance. Give them jacked armour (low stats) and caster hitpoints (but they are melee-type fighter), give them low mana, but something else to sort of replace mana (like adrenaline for warriors)...
Don't have to give them INSANELY low Hitpoints, just make them vulnerable to normal melee attacks (but perhaps give them spell resistance?). Make their spells melee-range so you have to get up close, but then use your other skills to evade.
Random note: I would like to see a caster class with a lot of Hitpoints and 0 manapoints. They could cast spells by using their HP rather than MP*

a random instance where you char is attacked by a high lvl wolf and if you kill it you gain a skill that turns you into a were-wolf...Dramatically Increased HP and attack but you cannot use any other skill untill Were-wolf weres off.
this could be applied to other animals too; Were-Bear, Were-Cat, Were-Boar, Were-Skale.
I could imagine PvP..."Everyone! attack the healer!" Monk turns into a were-bear "Everyone! Run away from the healer!"

It would be cool to see a stealth class... and then we need a class that counters stealth, such as a "seer"... just an ironic nicknack name... somebody who can use a spell, and he'll be the only one to see the stealth... but, he can target it, and when people press T, they can target the stealthy guy too... they just cant see him. I dunno, just idea's... or they could just have anti-stealth sort of spells on all characters, such as protection monk = dmg from invisible characters is reduced by-- and it lasts for quite a while, as an enchantment on one person... such things as that... or ele = This spell automaticly targets invisible characters, slowing their movement speed by ---
Other such idea's can bring about some really good class creations... we can help them, in the fact that they do read these forums... heh

Makes me think of adding a shapeshifter class... of which would be Bad ass... and yea, mo/shapeshifter... that would be some great fun, lol... nice for a laugh too... Perhaps, changing into different animals could make a small change in certain parts of your characters, ... such as bear = more health...
and so on... to add mana, or perhaps adding armor, or even running speed = wolf... such things and so-on

In response to who you quoted as well... You can't lower the hitpoints... ALL classes, and ALL characters will ALWAYS have equal health, it makes balancing a bit easier... all they'd have to do is give them slightly lower armor then an ele... and have armor just the same as a ranger, with lower al vs physical... just as this guys stating...
I love the idea of a blood mage... but that's kind of like necro spells that we already have, such as -- sacrifice this much health for this spell, and so on... but don't get me wrong, i see a major difference, since they wouldnt use Any mana... but perhaps they can have their own, "Blood mana", where if they're struck, or hurt... that amount adds a certain percentage to their "blood mana" and that percentage can be raised by an attribute such as "blood gathering(bad name, good idea)"... and then, they cast spells by sacrificing a small amount of health, and using some of the "blood" that they've gathering from being hurt...
Bad idea, good idea? flame aho if you want, but i think it's a bad ass idea...

Well it's not so much a bad idea, just I don't see any of the current professions being a specific counter to another profession...unlike Seer > Stealth.

stealth would be cool. I mean, if you're stealthy you would have to have auto-low hp, perhaps casting wouldn't aggro or reveal yourself....
I think if balanced right stealth could be pretty damn cool... maybe just shrink the area of aggro/danger-zone in PvE... I don't know how it could be used in PvP though...

How would stealth not be useful for PvP...imagine a team with 4 stealths...and then imagine your monk dead without apparent cause ;-)

Defender's Sword: Swordsmanship
Use this attack on someone that is attacking a teammate and do 4 + (2 x sword rank) damage. Either 5 energy with a 2 second recharge or 4 adrenaline. Could possibily have (sword rank)% armor penetration.
This would make it a little easier to keep the monk alive.

Hmm... stealth class would be so awesome in PvP. in PvE it would be semi-boring.
Skill
Healing Herbs: Search the area for healing herbs to heal yourself with.
Universal(Or ranger only?)
This would be a retreat skill so you can heal yourself on the way without stopping to cast a spell.
